DWG Support Now Available in ViewCompanion Premium

AutoCAD DWG Support Added to ViewCompanion Premium

We are pleased to announce that AutoCAD DWG support is now available in ViewCompanion Premium.

With this new release, ViewCompanion Premium can handle DWG files much like other supported technical drawing formats. Users can open, view, print, batch print, convert, batch convert, annotate, and measure DWG drawings directly in ViewCompanion Premium.

Available now: DWG support is included in ViewCompanion Premium version 17.10 and later.

What You Can Do With DWG Files

The new DWG functionality is designed to fit naturally into the existing ViewCompanion Premium workflow.

Open and view DWG drawings Inspect AutoCAD DWG files directly in ViewCompanion Premium.

Print and batch print Print individual DWG drawings or process multiple files in batch mode.

Convert and batch convert Convert DWG drawings to other supported formats using the existing conversion tools.

Annotate and mark up Add comments, notes, and markups to technical drawings.

Measure drawings Measure distances and areas directly in the drawing.

Use one technical document tool Work with DWG together with PDF, DWF, DXF, CGM, HPGL/2, TIFF, CALS, and other supported formats.

Introductory Launch Period

DWG support is now included in ViewCompanion Premium.

During the introductory launch period, the price of ViewCompanion Premium will remain unchanged at $95 per license.

After the launch period, the regular price of ViewCompanion Premium will increase to reflect the added value of DWG support and the expanded functionality included in the Premium edition.

Customers who purchase ViewCompanion Premium during the launch period will receive the new DWG functionality at the current price.
